Method The inspection is based on an examination of only those portions of the premises which were readily accessible and could be visually inspected. No inspection was performed in areas which were obstructed, concealed or closed off. No inspection was performed in areas which required the dismantling, removal or movement of any object including, but not limited to, floor and wall coverings, sidings, ceilings, floors, furniture and appliances. The condition of the premises may change after the date of inspection due to factors such as weather, fire, moisture, leaks, actions taken by the owner or others, or the passage of time. This report describes the condition of the premises at the time of inspection. General Information The original central portion of the residence was built in the late 1940's and is adobe on a mortared stone foundation. Additions were built on the east and west ends on concrete foundations. The residence is finished with vinyl siding and corrugated metal roofing with a steel chimney and an adobe chimney. There are concrete porches on west and south faces and there is a mortared rock sidewalk and steps on the south. The structure faces south. There is a cellar that has problems with water infiltration when the ditch is flowing. One broken west window was found. Roof and porch drainage appear adequate. There are rain gutters on the west and south faces and there are no downspouts. All drainage is to earth. The lot is flat and drainage flows southwest. There was no erosion near the residence, wall alignment appeared straight and there was no evidence of settlement. The residence uses well water, LPG stove heating, and has a septic system. The well is 160 to 180 feet deep, with steel casing to 100 feet. The water level is at about 90 feet and the well produces five gallons per minute. Sincerely, Mark L. Burgus, PG Geophysicist
