DBMS 12/18: The discussion of post- mining land uses provided in subsection 2.05.5 of <br />the APD is incomplete. Division records indicate that for the original Carbon Junction <br />Mine permit (C- 1982 -054), the pre - mining land uses were Rangeland/Wildlife Habitat <br />and Cropland ( dryland wheat). Approved post - mining land uses were the same; no <br />alternate uses were proposed. When the current permit was issued in 1993, the post - <br />mining land uses were to be rangeland, wildlife habitat, and dryland farming. Please <br />revise the discussion in 2.05.5 of the ADP to provide a complete history of land uses, in <br />addition to the change in land use that was approved under TR -05 in 1996. <br />Oilier Comments <br />DBMS 12/18. The Table of Contents for the original permit volumes is obsolete, and <br />needs to be updated to reflect the current pagination. A manually- corrected version is <br />enclosed, for your use. Please update the Table of Contents as indicated, and expand the <br />TOC to list the various Appendices and Maps that are included in the permit.
