outcrop soil mapping units is not recommended, as any soil retrieved will most likely be <br />lost in dilution with broken sandstone. The SCS concurs with this approach (Exhibit J). <br />The projected disturbed area and soil stockpile locations are shown on the Mine Plan <br />Map (Map 5 -2). The areas of each soil map unit, the recommended stripping depth, and <br />the total volume of available soil is shown on Table 4 -7 (Exiibitdj. Each soil stockpile <br />will be seeded with the temporary seed mix given in the reclamation plan to control <br />erosion (See Section 2.05.3(5)). <br />'Tables 5 -2 and 5 -3 have been revised to reflect the findings of the Walsh <br />Study of February 21, 1983. Map 5 -3 (Soil Stripping and Respreading) has also been <br />revised to reflect information from the same study. Incorporating the above changes, <br />Table 5 -6 was updated to reflect the appropriate information. The original soils work <br />was amended by the updated work provided in the February 21, 1983 Walsh report. <br />This report has been provided in its entirety as a part of this permit per the agreement <br />with the Division and outdated information was retained as appendices. <br />The amounts of soil salvaged from the existing disturbed and areas proposed for <br />disturbance will be sufficient to replace the projected depths of soil during reclamation. <br />No selected overburden material is proposed for use as a soil substitute during <br />reclamation. <br />Abridged Permit Document 4 -17 Feb 2013 Permit Renewal <br />
