Inc. <br />Reporting Period: 12.01.13 thru 12.07.13 <br />Ambient Temperature Ranges for reporting period: Weather conditions for reporting period: <br />_ _.______._ _..._.__.._ - -._- <br />Low: -3F to 23T Cloud Cover: Clear to overcast. <br />High: 8 °F to 39 °F C Precipitation: Snow Wednesday and Thursday <br />Wind: Calm to gusts at times. <br />Ames: Continuing construction tasks for HWY 67 and VLF. <br />Planning: Continuing construction activities and scheduling for VLF and HWY 67, <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIV11T1ES and PROGRESS: <br />I) Earthworks <br />A) VLF (Phase 1) <br />Topsoil 1 Overburden Stripping: No topsoil or overburden stripping occurred this week. <br />Production drilling: Production drilling occurred during this reporting period within the planned VLF limits. <br />Production blasting: Two blasts occurred during this reporting period within planned VLF limits. <br />Structural Fill: <br />Structural fill materials were placed and compacted at the ADR haul road near stations 65 +00 to 67 +00. A Cat D8T <br />dozer was used to spread the loose lifts and compaction was achieved utilizing a Cat CS56 smooth drum roller by <br />method specification. Any oversized material encountered was broken with a Cat excavator hammer -hoe. <br />Structural fill materials were placed and compacted at the PSSA toe berm. A Cat D8T was used to spread the loose <br />lifts and compaction was achieved utilizing a Cat CS56 smooth drum roller by method specification. <br />Structural fill materials were placed and compacted at the buttress fill between Dump 4 and the Ball Mill fill primarily <br />between approximate stations H24 +00 to H30 +00. A Cat D8 and D9 dozer were used to spread the loose lifts and <br />compaction was achieved utilizing a Cat CS56 smooth drum roller by method specification. Any oversized material <br />encountered was broken with a Cat excavator hammer -hoe. <br />A Cat D10 and a D8 (GPS) dozer placed fill near station E1 +00 to E4 +00.
