I have labeled each with the amount of material
needed to accomplish that. These are estimates only but would give you an idea of their size. The green line
is the line I would suggest you expand to so there is enough room to work above the mine face. Basically I
suggest you move the west and first leg of the south line out 100 feet and bled it with the red line to
define you permit areas.
You don't have to use this new area but if you do, it is in the permit so you don't have to expand the mine
area again. This will have little effect on the permit and if it isn't needed for sloping then it does not need
to be reclaimed.
I think there is enough material in the permit area to do the work you want, it is just a function of how you
want to accomplish it. These areas are based on rebuilding the slopes from the bottom and do not take into
account a cut /fill method where you would cut the top of the slope off and use that material to build the
bottom After looking this over and you have time to decided how you want to do the grading, we can
redraw the slopes using a cut /fill method at will tell you how far back from the top of the existing slope
you have to go to cut enough material to lay them back to 4:1.
What ever we come up with for the final I'll send Anne the Autocad base when it is done.
If you need more information of have any questions give me a call.
Steve
Steve O'Brian
Environment, Inc.
7985 Vance Dr., #205A
Arvada, CO 80003
