The permit area can be found on <br />the USGS Quadrangle 7.5 Minute Series Maps of Hayden Gulch, Hayden, Dunckley and Mt. <br />Harris. <br />Surface ownership is predominantly private, with right of entry based on a variety of private <br />leases, subleases and easements. The permit area also includes limited areas of lands owned by <br />the State of Colorado and federal surface managed by BLM. Coal mined at Seneca II -W was <br />owned by private interest, the State of Colorado, and the Federal government, all under lease to <br />Seneca Coal Company. <br />Page 4 of 18 <br />
