Hickenlooper <br />Governor <br />Mike King <br />Executive Director <br />Loretta Pineda <br />Director <br />Seneca Coal Company submitted the fourth quarter 2013 sediment inspection report for the Yeast Mine on <br />December 12, 2013. Ponds at the Yoast Mine were inspected on November 7, November 8, and November 20, <br />2013. The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety ( CDRMS) found the above reference report to <br />be in compliance with the following CDRMS regulation. <br />4.05.9(17) – Examined at least quarterly by a qualified person designated by the operator, for appearance of <br />structural weakness and other hazardous conditions. <br />4.05.9(17) – A copy of the report shall be submitted to the Division on a quarterly basis. <br />Notes on Pond 013, continue to identify a slump /seep below the toe of the dam on the north side. The inspector <br />did not believe the slump to be a problem at the time of the inspection. This slump /seep will continue to require <br />monitoring.
