<br />Notice Representative of theSteamboat Pilot & Today,
<br />that the same is a daily newspaper printed, in whole
<br />or in part, and published in the County of Routt,
<br />State of Colorado, and has a general circulation
<br />therein; that said newspaper has been published
<br />continuously and uninterruptedly in said County of
<br />Routt for a period of more than fifty -two weeks prior
<br />to the first publication of the annexed legal notice or
<br />advertisement; that said newspaper has been admitted

<br />81639, has requested release of total bond
<br />liability on 6.25 acres of permitted lands at
<br />the Yoast Mine (CDMG Permit No. C- 94084
<br />approved August 5, 1995).
<br />The Yoast Mine is located approximately 115
<br />miles southeast of the Town of Hayden Col-
<br />orado off of Routt Carty Road 27. The
<br />specific area to which this bond release re-
<br />quest applies is included within the Permit
<br />Area located as follows:

<br />totaling 2,318.3 acres.
<br />The area requested for bond release is a
<br />625 acre parcel in the Yoast permit area,
<br />along Couty Road (CR) 27 (aka Turnout
<br />Area), that previously served as dragiine
<br />deadhead route when a dragline was
<br />'walked' from the Seneca 11 mining area to
<br />the Yeast miring area This area was previ-
<br />ously reclaimed according to DIMS and
<br />landowner approvals (parking lot and live-
<br />stock grazing) and was subject to the bond
<br />release process. Roult Couty acquired
<br />control of this area In order to construct a
<br />rood -about to impove public trafic safety
<br />between vehicles traveling north and south
<br />on CR 27. Within this 6.25 acre area, ap-
<br />proximately 1.97 acres was acquired by
<br />Roult Couty as right-of -way for the
<br />round -about constricted in 2012. The ma-
<br />jority of the remaining permit area west of the
<br />right-d -way served as disposal site for ex-
<br />cess material excavated cluing the construc-
<br />tion of the round -about through an agree-
<br />ment between Roult Couty and the land-
<br />owner. The limited area remaining that is ad-
<br />jacent to the west boundary of the permit
<br />has never been disturbed. Seneca Coal
<br />Company requested a land use range from
<br />livestock grazing and wildlife habitat to
<br />industrial/commeraai postmine land use and
<br />requested that the 6.25 acre area be re-
<br />moved from the Yoast Mine permit area A
<br />self -bond in the amount of $2,221,677 is cur-
<br />rently in place of which $16,382.81 is being
<br />requested for release.
<br />A copy of the SL -5 bond release application
<br />is available for public inspection at the Hay-
<br />den Public library, 201 E. Jefferson Avenue,
<br />Hayden, Colorado 81639. Written comments
