Flag Resources, Inc. <br />Permit # M- 1978 -279 <br />Notes: <br />Goldman Pit <br />2013 Annual Report <br />Please refer to the 2012 Annual Report Map for location of the areas of disturbance in <br />the mine. We continued to remove material from stockpiles and the mined area. No <br />reclamation is required at this time. <br />9 The oil company reseeded the slopes around the oil pad in 2011 but due to the drought <br />conditions in this area it failed to take. We continue to moniter the seeding and will do <br />additional work if necessary. <br />10. The oil company has approached the landowner about expanding the oil pad from the <br />south into the mine area. Once we have more information regarding this expansion we will <br />contact the Division regarding the change. <br />14. WEED CONTROL <br />Weed control was Done once this year in June 2013 in accordance with the Garfield Weed <br />Management Plan on the mine and spot work was done on the Plant Site areas and <br />roadways. Escort and 2 -4 -0 was applied to the Hoary Crest, and Kochia, and Telar and <br />Milestone was used on the Russian Knopweed. Ranger pro was use on grass areas to <br />control the weeds in those areas. The spraying is successful in controlling the weeds and <br />weed control will continue next year. <br />18 . BOND REVIEW: <br />The bond is currently set at $17,300 for disturbance on the entire area. This mine was <br />last inspected on 5/4/2010 and the bond was determined to be adequate by the <br />Division.10. The mine permit area is totally disturbed except along the narrow setback <br />along Siloam Road. <br />
