It was stated that a formal
withdraw request for X- 2011 - 235 -00, a new NOI form, and an amended application would be required
should Linc Energy continue their interests in obtaining an approved NOI.
Linc Energy Operations, Inc. continues to be interested in exploring coal deposits north of Craig Colorado
and has attached a resubmission of a Notice of Intent to Explore application and supporting documents
for review and processing by the Division. This letter also serves as a formal withdrawal request for NOI
X- 2011 - 235 -00.
The purpose of the proposed 10 -hole drilling project is to determine if the area is suitable on a geologic
and hydrologic standpoint for potential Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) development. Linc Energy
will strive to complete the drilling project in a safe manner with emphasis on minimal disturbance to the
environment.
Please direct correspondence to me at the address below or call at (303) 352 -1520.
