weather operating surface. The completed Thickener Underflow Borehole installation will include the
short access road, a soil material stockpile; a 75 x 75 foot pad; the 12 -inch cased borehole and 6 -inch
carrier pipe, a 16 -inch cemented surface casing, and a covered 8 -foot diameter CMP culvert manhole
with lightening protection.
When no longer needed to support ongoing or future activities, the drop- borehole will be plugged and
sealed, using the methods described in the permit for boreholes. The access manhole and pipeline
connection will be removed, the 6RT pipeline will either be reconnected or plugged, gravel surfacing
material will be recovered from the pad and road, the pad and road disturbance areas will be regraded
to blend with the surrounding terrain and promote effective drainage, soil materials will be replaced,
and the disturbed areas will be reseeded with the rangeland seed mixture.
The proposed borehole, access road, and connecting pipeline all fall within areas previously disturbed
by mining and related activities, so no cultural resource survey or wildlife consultation were necessary.
Temporary construction drainage and sediment control measures will be as previously described.
Long -term drainage and sediment control will be addressed under a Small Area Exemption (SAE) ,
using site drainage control measures, as documented by the included SAE analysis. Detailed design,
operations, and reclamation information for the proposed activities, is provided as both revised PAP
text and exhibits; and revised maps, reflecting the location and configuration of the new facilities,
pipeline, and road. New and revised PAP materials are identified by the attached Summary of
Revisions /Additions.
We would like to proceed with this project as soon as possible, due to the time required for road and
pad construction, and to complete drilling operations and subsequent equipment installation. We,
therefore, appreciate your consideration, cooperation, and assistance in facilitating timely review and
approval of this revision application. After you have opportunity to review the accompanying
information, please feel free to contact me with any questions or to discuss submittal materials or
related matters.
Best regards,
for Twentymila-eV, LLC
Jerr M. tt ton
Manag E ironmental Affairs
cc: Mi e Berdine /TC
Drew Mason /TC
