December 2, 2013
Mr. Phillip Courtney
State of Colorado
State Board of Land Commissioners
1127 Sherman Street, Room 300
Denver, CO 80203
RE: Linc Energy Operations, Inc.
Continuance of the Exploration Application process
Little Snake River, Moffat County, Colorado
Dear Mr. Courtney:
LIRC
EIIERGY
The Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety (CDRMS) requested a response from Linc
Energy pertaining to the NOI Application filed for an area in Moffat County Colorado. In a letter sent by
the CDRMS on June 18, 2013, CDRMS provided Linc Energy instructions on how to progress with the NOI
application process once the dates stated within the NOI application for drilling activity expires. It was
stated that a formal withdraw request for X- 2011 - 235 -00, a new NOI form, and an amended application
would be required should Linc Energy continue their interests in obtaining an approved NOI. Linc Energy
hereby provides the Colorado Land Board a copy of the application package provided to the CDRMS.
Linc Energy Operations, Inc. continues to be interested in exploring coal deposits north of Craig Colorado
to determine if the area is suitable on a geologic and hydrologic standpoint for potential Underground
Coal Gasification (UCG) development.
Please direct correspondence to me at the address below or call at (303) 352 -1520. We appreciate your
time and attention in assisting Linc Energy with our Coal Exploration Program.
Sincerely yours,
exanderPapp
Exploration Manager
Enclosures as stated: Original and 2 copies
cc: Brian Deurloo, General Manager Clean Energy Wyoming
Jason Musick, Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
Fueling our Future
www.lincenergy.com
RECEIVIEn
DEC 0 9 2013
Division of
Mining & Safety
Linc.
