Pineda <br />Director <br />The Division has completed a preliminary adequacy review of the minor revision application (MR -145) <br />submitted by Bowie Resources, LLC (BRL) for the Bowie No. 2 Mine. The revision proposes updates to <br />the ownership and control information for Bowie Resources, LLC. We have the following comments <br />regarding the application. <br />1. The cover letter for the revision indicates that Tate Tatton will be replacing Dewey Tanner as <br />General Manager of Bowie Resources, LLC. The revised page 2.03 -23 provides an end date for <br />Dewey Tanner, but does not list Tate Tatton as General Manager or provide a start date for his term. <br />Please revise page 2.03 -23 to reflect the current role of Tate Tatton as General Manager, and <br />include a start date for his current term. <br />2. The owners and controllers listed on revised page 2.03 -23 for Bowie Resources, LLC, are inconsistent <br />with the information in the Applicant Violator System (AVS); see attached printout from AVS. Please <br />revise page 2.03 -23 with current information, or verify that the currently submitted information <br />for Bowie Resources, LLC is correct so that we may update AVS. Please also provide or verify the <br />start and end dates for each listed individual. <br />The Division is required to issue a decision on this revision application on or before December 13, 2013. If <br />you are unable to respond to our comments by December 11, 2013, please request an extension of the <br />decision date.
