Two 4 inch emergency spillway pipes have adegate capacity to
handle the design flow of 70 gpm. One 6 inch diamter
primary spillway has the capacity to handle the design flow.
If the 25-year event occured, the maximum flow expected from
the long pond would be the maximum capacity from one G-inch
primary spillway and two four inch diameter emergency
spillways. Since the long pond and pond T-2 have identical
spillway configurations, the 25-year event will be decanted in
the same manner from both ponds.
The primary spillway will be a six inch diameter pipe. The
emergency spillway will be two four inch diameter pipes.
The calculations and information presented on the preceeding
pages, P-9-5 through P-9-10, was prepared by me during the
month of er 1992 and revised August and September 1995,
