Section - 2.05.3
detail in this section. Removal of the mine facilities and reclamation of the associated disturbance
areas will be accomplished in accordance with the reclamation plans described in Section 2.05.4.
Existing and proposed mine structures and facilities are described in the following sections.
Dimensions and general construction information for all mine facilities are provided by Table 2.05.1,
Mine Facilities Summary Table, in compliance with applicable regulatory provisions and as the basis
for estimating mine closure and reclamation costs.
Somerset Mine and Related Facilities — See the General Facilities Map, (Map 2.05 -M1), and the
Facilities Detail Maps, (Map series 2.05 -M3x).
All of the following mine facilities associated with the Somerset Mine were constructed or erected
prior to 1977 except as noted in the facility descriptions. Essentially all of the Somerset Mine
facilities have either been partially or fully reclaimed or have been modified for use with subsequent
mine operations. Those facilities which remain and have been modified are identified and discussed
under the current operations with which they are associated.
PR -07 2.05 -8 Revised May 2012
