Sarah Matthews being duly sworn,
deposes and says:
1. That she is a representative of The
South Platte Sentinel a weekly newspaper
published in the City of Sterling, County of
Logan, and State of Colorado.
2. That the said The South Platte
Sentinel is printed and published weekly and
that it has a general circulation of 8,300 in the
City of Sterling and County of Logan.
3. That the said The South Platte
Sentinel was established, and has been
published in said County, uninterruptedly and
continuously, during a period of at least twenty -
five weeks next prior to the first issue thereof,
containing said LEGAL NOTICES a copy of
which is hereunto attached.
4. That the said The South Platte
Sentinel is a weekly newspaper of general
circulation, and that the said weekly
newspaper is printed and published in whole or
in part in said County of Logan, in which said
LEGAL NOTICE are required by law to be
published.

isting gravel pit to a Construction
Materials Regular 112 Operation
Reclamation Permit with the Col-
orado Mined Land Reclamation
Board under the provisions of the
Colorado Land Reclamation Act
for the Extraction of Construction
Materials. The proposed mine is
known as the Barton Pit and is
a conversion of an existing 110
Pit known as M- 2000 -149. It is
located in the SE 1/4 of Section 8,
T6N, R51 W of the 6th P.M., Logan
County, Colorado and contains
65.3 acres. The proposed date
of commencement is as soon as
possible and the proposed date
of completion is indefinite. The
proposed future use of the pit area
is for pastureland.

are available at the above -named
County Clerk and Recorder's off ice
and at the Division's office.
Comments concerning the appli-
cations and exhibits must be filed
in writing and must be received by
the Division of Reclamation, Mining
and Safety by 4 p.m. on October
22, 2013.
