Pineda <br />Director <br />The Division received Twentymile Coal, LLC's (TC's) application for a minor revision (MR- <br />269) on November 7, 2013. The application was determined to be complete on November 13, <br />2013. The Division completed its preliminary adequacy review in a letter dated November 13, <br />2013. The Division received responses to its preliminary adequacy review in a letter received by <br />the Division on November 26, 2013 from TC. Please respond to the following comments or <br />concerns as necessary: <br />Division's initial comment: Proposed page 2.04 -9.1 proposed under Rule 2.04.4 — <br />Cultural and Historic Resources, states that a Class III cultural resources survey of the <br />four proposed corehole sites and associated drill pads was conducted with the results <br />presented in Exhibit 6L. Until the Division can adequately review the surveys <br />compliance with Rule 2.04.4 the proposed activities cannot be initiated. Please submit <br />the cultural resources surveys associated with the proposed disturbances proposed in MR- <br />269 upon completion. <br />TC Response: TC's cultural resource consultant completed their field survey work on <br />November 12 through 14. We anticipate receipt of their survey report the week of <br />12/02/2013, and will forward a copy on receipt. <br />Division Response: The Division understands that the Decision date for MR -269 has <br />been extended to December 13, 2013 in order for TC to provide the requested cultural <br />Office of Office of <br />Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines <br />
