The
location is NW /4NW /4 Section 28, TSN, R86W. The proposed 7RT Borehole would be drilled from an existing pad
adjacent to the County Road, and the pipeline would be trenched in and buried adjacent to the County Road, well up out
of the Foidel Creek floodplain. All construction would include appropriate drainage and sediment control measures
(staked straw wattles below the pipeline trench and straw wattles and a berm on the stream side of the pad area) to
minimize sediment discharge to the creek. The pipeline will be a double -wall fused HDPE pipeline with leak detection,
buried approximately 5 feet deep.
We will not be crossing Foidel Creek (current pipeline to 6RT Thickener Underflow Borehole was bored under the creek
and rail spur), and do not anticipate any disturbance within the Foidel Creek floodplain or the marginal wetlands that
exist in a thin band along the stream channel. As I mentioned, we don't anticipate that this activity would be
jurisdictional, but wanted to contact you with basic details to verify.
Thanks for your attention and consideration. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, or to discuss -
Best regards,
z
