and concluded that it was due to the recent reclamation of the site. The FCT pond was <br />discharging and the water was clear. <br />18 Right Vent Shaft Pad <br />The end of the 18 Right access road (where 18 Right pad is located) displayed evidence of <br />erosion with the formation of a small gully. It was apparent that the road has facilitated runoff <br />and may need additional monitoring/ maintenance to minimize erosion in the future. <br />Reclamation, in terms of backfilling, grading, and drainage control was in compliance with the approved <br />reclamation plan at the time of the inspection. Based on the inspection, the areas of the FCT, EMD Vent <br />Shaft, 18 Right Vent Shaft and the Topsoil Stockpile Footprint have achieved successful reclamation to <br />meet Phase 1 bond release criteria. <br />All participants expressed confidence that this bond release would be approved. <br />Please address any questions concerning this report to Spencer Shumate, Natural Resources <br />Specialist, jshumate @osmre.gov or (303) 293 -5046. <br />
