If a <br />Possible Violation is indicated, you will be notified under separate cover as to when the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board will consider Possible enforcement action <br />INSPECTION TOPIC: Topsoil <br />PROBLEM /POSSIBLE VIOLATION: Problem: The operator has placed a stockpile of waste asphalt directly on <br />native topsoil, without stripping the topsoil; the mining plan requires that topsoil resources are to be protected <br />for reclamation. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: The operator must move the waste asphalt pile to another location where it does not <br />damage the topsoil. After moving the asphalt, the footprint of affected land formerly underlying the pile must <br />be seeded. These actions must be completed AND reported to the Division within 60 days of the signed date of <br />this report. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION DUE DATE: 12/16/13 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
