Task 044 Dredge Sediment Ponds $437,728.00
In May of 2001, in conjunction with Permit Renewal No. 3, Seneca Coal Company estimated
that the cost to mobilize a dredger and pump ponds 005, 006, 009, 015 and 016 would be
$312,663.00. The Division agreed with this estimate. In the new estimate with the addition of
Ponds 016A and 017, the Division has increased this estimate by 40% to account for the 40%
increase in the number of ponds to be cleaned.
