Liberty Mining, LLC <br />DRMS 110 -d Permit Application <br />October 2013 <br />EXHIBIT A LEGAL DESCRIPTION AND GENERAL LOCATION <br />MAPS <br />A (1) Legal Description of the Liberty Mine Site <br />The Liberty Mine consists of four unpatented mineral claims, Liberty #1, #2, #3, and #4 Lode <br />Mining Claims, which are located on Public Lands administered by the United States Bureau of <br />Land Management (BLM). These claims are further defined in documentation provided as <br />Exhibit G of this application. The Liberty Mine Portal was formerly mined as the South October <br />Mine and is located above the former Nielsen Mine. The Liberty Mine, for the most part, will <br />remain within the previously disturbed areas of these two mines. Mining activities are not <br />currently occurring. Based on exploration and prospecting (NOI: P- 2005 -018) activities, the <br />Liberty Mine is anticipated to produce uranium and vanadium ore and associated minerals. <br />The Liberty Mine is proposed to be a Designated Mining Operation (DMO) with an overall <br />disturbance under 10 acres, classifying it as a 110d permit. Per the Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety's Hard -Rock, Metals, and Designated Mining Operations regulations, all <br />uranium mines are classified as DMOs. <br />The mine site is accessed by traveling 0.15 miles east of Gateway Canyon Resort on Highway <br />141, Gateway, Colorado. Turn right onto Mesa County Road 4.4 (John Brown Road) and travel <br />south - southwest 5.98 miles to Mesa County Road Z 2.4. Turn left onto Z 2.4 County Road and <br />travel east - southeast for 3.91 miles to the Liberty Mine access road. Turn left and proceed <br />southeast for 0.51 mile to the reclaimed waste rock dump and mine portal. <br />The portal and waste rock dump are located in the NWt/4 of the SE' /4 of Section PB -40 (10), <br />T50N, R19W, of the NMPM, Mesa County, Colorado. <br />Liberty Mine Portal Location: Latitude 380 36' 36.63" N, Longitude 108058'4.06" W <br />Liberty Mining, LLC Moab, Utah SMA Ref. 5821897 Page 4 <br />
