SHELTON, Director <br />RELEASE AND CONSENT FOR RECLAMATION ACTIVITIES <br />Ted and Janet Kuntz hereby grant to the agents, employees, <br />the Mined Land Reclamation Division, Department of Natural <br />Colorado, permission to perform the following reclamation <br />Mary McKinney mine located in the County of Teller and the <br />Legal Description: S 1/2 SW 1/4 Section 19 T15S R 69W also <br />McKinney Mine Shaft. <br />and contractors of <br />Resources, State of <br />activities at the <br />State of Colorado. <br />known as the Mary <br />Reclamation activities will consist of placing 8 -10 concrete panels directly <br />on bedrock surrounding the Mary McKinney Mine which is 900 feet deep. The <br />depth to competent bedrock is about 18 feet. Unconsolidated material above <br />bedrock must be excavated so that the concrete panels can be placed on a 24 <br />foot beam. This excavated material will be placed in the Mary McKinney shaft. <br />The concrete panels measure 5 feet by 10 feet and weigh in total approximately <br />30,000 pounds. The cap will provide a complete seal for the shaft and no <br />access grate or ventilation opening will be provided.
