Pifieda <br />Longmont, CO 80503 Director <br />Re: Gold Hill Mill, Permit No. M- 1994 -117, Technical Revision Approval, Revision No. TR -9 <br />Dear Mr. Steen: <br />On October 30, 2013 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety approved the Technical Revision <br />application submitted to the Division on February 15, 2013, addressing the following: <br />Modification of water monitoring plan addressing the following: <br />a) Remove Left Hand Creek water sampling location. <br />b) Cease collecting samples from the Wynona Mine until such time as the mine is used for <br />water storage. <br />c) Remove Hazel A water sampling location. <br />d) Continue water sampling at all four wells (MWI -MW4) located below the tailings <br />impoundment. ` <br />e) Establishment of MWI (mill well) as the compliance point for Gold Hill Mill. <br />t7 The following parameters will be eliminated from the sample suite: Arsenic, Aluminum, <br />Cadmium, Chromium, Cobalt, Copper, Fluoride, Iron, Lead, Lithium, Mercury, Nickel, <br />Selenium, and Vanadium. Sampling of the following parameters will continue: Manganese, <br />Zinc, Sulfate, pH, temp., conductivity and TDS. <br />The terms of the Technical Revision No. 9 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit <br />No. M- 1994 -117.
