SR -1 was submitted by DRMS on February 21, 2012. The reclamation cost estimate was <br />reduced by $513,587.00 due to modified procedures for sealing gob vent boreholes approved <br />in TR -66. SR -1 was approved February 21, 2012. <br />MR -99 was submitted on April 2, 2012. OMLLC proposed to add four gob vent boreholes on <br />existing drill pads. MR -99 was approved on April 16, 2012. <br />PR -7 was submitted on May 29, 2012. OMLLC requested that the Elk Creek East Federal <br />Coal Lease COC -70615 to be incorporated into the permit. PR -7 was approved on October 4, <br />2012. <br />MR -100 was submitted on June 15, 2012. OMLLC submitted the COGCC permit for the Elk <br />Creek methane borehole to be used for gas production in addition to being a de -gas well. MR- <br />100 was approved on June 25, 2012. <br />MR -101 was submitted on November 13, 2012. OMLLC submitted the as -built configuration <br />of the electrical substation for the methane fueled electrical generating station at the Elk Creek <br />Fansite. MR -101 was approved on January 29, 2013. <br />MR -102 was submitted on December 26, 2012. OMLLC submitted updated borehole <br />information for inclusion into the permit. MR -102 was approved on March 22, 2013. <br />MR -103 was submitted on January 31, 2013. OMLLC proposed to add one atmosphere <br />monitoring well for the west main entries. MR -103 was approved on February 1, 2013. <br />MR -104 was submitted on March 14, 2013. OMLLC proposed to add five utility boreholes <br />and one mine dewater borehole to aid in mine recovery efforts of the longwall miner. MR -104 <br />was approved on March 29, 2013. <br />MR -105 was submitted on June 3, 2013. OMLLC proposed to add a second mine dewater <br />borehole to aid in mine recovery efforts. MR -105 was approved on June 7, 2013. <br />TR -74 was submitted on June 3, 2013. OMLLC proposed to install gob vent boreholes, drill <br />pads and associated light use roads on the new East Lease Area (COC- 70615). TR -74 was <br />approved on August 9, 2013. <br />TR -75 was submitted on July 16, 2013. OMLLC proposed to build an elevated pad to support <br />a methane gas borehole. The gas is to be used at the Elk Creek electrical generating facility. <br />TR -75 is still under review by the Division and COGCC. <br />On January 2, 2013, the Division notified OMLLC that the five -year permit term for the Elk <br />Creek Mine would expire on October 11, 2013 and that a permit renewal application must be <br />submitted by April 14, 2013 to retain the right to successive renewal. OMLLC subsequently <br />submitted an application for permit renewal 6 (RN -6), which was received by the Division on <br />March 10, 2013. On March 27, 2013, the application was deemed Complete for purposes of <br />filing.
