MANAGEMENT
Recely
FD
Nov 0 7 Z013
a►v'c°'ca
noy
During a recent inspection of the Roadside Mine with J.E. Stover and Associates, Inc. and the
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS), two old bore holes was discovered
on surface land owned by Reams Living Trust and Rudolph Fontanari. The Reams bore hole is
located in Section 2, Township 11 South, Range 98 West, 6th P.M. and the Fontanari bore hole is
located in Section 34, Township 10 South, Range 98 West, 6th P.M., Mesa County.
The Roadside Mine has abandoned mine workings below portions of these properties. Snowcap
Coal has been unable to find any records of these bore holes being drilled. However, for public
safety reasons, and the assumption that the bore holes were for mining purposes, Snowcap Coal
agreed to bring in a drilling contractor to properly plug and abandon the holes.
Enclosed is a copy of the Well Abandonment Report for your files. If you have any question,
please give me a call.
Sincerely,
U
Tonya Hammond
Owner's Representative
cc: DRMS Grand Junction Office
Snowcap Coal File
