CONTINUED WORK EXPERIENCE and SKILLS: <br />2001 -2013: Wildlife Technician: Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Where, I was responsible in -part for <br />managing the Area 7 Chronic Wasting Disease Program, and Mandatory Big Game Check -ins. I also, <br />served as the Biology Technician team player on the Black - Footed Ferret Recovery program, which <br />(Black- Footed Ferret) is listed as an endangered species. <br />Reason for leaving: (Seasonal) <br />2008 -2011: Weed Manaxement Technician; Seasonal: Mesa County, Division of Pest Management and <br />Weed Control. Where, I was responsible for addressing the Mesa and Montrose Counties noxious weed <br />programs. By mapping noxious weeds using GPS technology, and with follow -up hands -on herbicide <br />treatments. <br />Reason for leaving: (Seasonal) <br />1998 -2001: Executive Director; WATER PACK (Water Protection Association of Central Kansas). Where <br />I was responsible in -part for conducting on farm Irrigation Water Management research, both on quality <br />and quantity, on behalf Kansa State University, Cooperative Extension program. I was responsible for <br />assisting and training agricultural producers, and on farm irrigators in developing "Best Management <br />Practices" in their irrigation water management programs. And for developing a Water Bank Program <br />that allowed for annual unused shares of water to be placed in Water Bank to serve as an emergency <br />crop water source, while at the same time being a water conservation incentive. And for developing the <br />US Fish and Wildlife Service, Quiver Wildlife Refuge program mitigations, and long range wildlife habitat <br />and wildlife management programs. <br />Reason for Leaving (Lack of Grant Funding) <br />1992 -1998: Extension Agent, Irrigation Water Management Specialist: Colorado State University <br />(CSU), Cooperative Extension. Where, I was responsible in -part for implementing the Montrose and <br />Delta County's, CO on farm irrigation water management field trials, and the training of farmer's and <br />irrigators in using "Best Management Practices (BMP's)" on their individual agronomic croplands, <br />pasture and haylands, and rangelands. <br />Reason for leaving: (Lack of Grant Funding) <br />1972 -1990: USDA — NATURAL RESOURCE CONSERVATION SERVICE INKS) Colorado <br />Where, l served as a Range Conservationist in Mesa and Weld Counties'; Soil /Range Conservation <br />Researcher, Colorado State Office, Denver, CO. and District Conservationist in Gunnison and Douglas <br />Counties. <br />Reason for leaving: (Early Buy -out Opportunity) <br />
