Hickenlooper <br />Governor <br />Mike King <br />Executive Director <br />Loretta Rheda <br />Director <br />On October 8, 2013 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) received <br />correspondence from Camp Bird Colorado disputing the determination that the Camp Bird Mine <br />meets the definition of a Designated Mining Operation (DMO). The letter was received within <br />thirty (30) days of the September 10, 2013 "Letter of Determination" issued by the Division and <br />therefore is considered timely per Rule 7.2.4. <br />As required per Rule 7.2.4 (1) (a), the Division is requesting a meeting to discuss the <br />determination and Camp Bird's response in an effort to resolve the dispute. The Division is <br />suggesting a meeting at the Denver main office on December 12, 2013 at 1:30 PM. Please <br />affirm this date is acceptable, and if not an alternative date and time during the same week. <br />If you need additional information please visit our website @ h=-//mining.state.co.us.
