This revision is to install a minimum 15" diameter
culvert in ditch DRPE -2 along the south side of the RPE ponds at the location of the middle
embankment between the two pond cells. This will allow vehicles and equipment to more readily
cross the embankment for pond cleaning and other maintenance work and/or serve as a turn- around
point. Ditch DRPE -2 is designed to carry 6.46 cfs of flow. Two other existing 15" minimum diameter
culverts, C3 -1 and C3 -lA, were designed to carry 7.50 cfs and 5.32 cfs, respectively, so a 15"
minimum diameter culvert will carry the 6.46 cfs of ditch DRPE -2, as well. This culvert has been
designated on Table 44E table as CRPE -6W.
Please contact me at (970) 929 -2238 or by e -mail should you have questions regarding this submittal.
Sincerely,
Kat Teen G.
