Inc. <br />Reporting Period: 09.15.13 thru 09.21.13 <br />Days <br />S <br />M <br />T <br />W <br />T <br />F <br />S <br />Work Shifts <br />- <br />w <br />D <br />D <br />D <br />D <br />D <br />- <br />w <br />N <br />N <br />N <br />N <br />N <br />D = Day Shift N = Night Shift <br />w = Weather Day <br />Ambient Temperature Ranges for reporting period: Weather conditions for reporting ep riod: <br />Low: 337 — 43 °F Cloud Cover: Partly Cloudy / Cloudy <br />High: 47 °F — 66 °F Precipitation: showers <br />Wind: Calm to Gusts at times <br />Ames: Construction activities were limited on Monday (9.16.13) due to weather conditions. <br />Planning: Continuing Construction activities and scheduling for VLF and HWY 67. <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES and PROGRESS: <br />I) Earthworks <br />A) VLF (Phase I) <br />Topsoil / Overburden Stripping: During this reporting period, topsoil materials were observed being stockpiled <br />and hauled to area 34 stockpile from West of the Bali Mill Embankment toe, South of the Crib Wall. <br />Production drilling: No production drilling occurred during this reporting period. <br />One production blast occurred during this reporting period within planned VLF limits. <br />Structural Fill: The contractor continued fill operations and compaction by method specification for the ADR haul <br />road and the PSSA toe berm. <br />Structural fill materials were placed and compacted for the ADR haul road. A Cat D8T was used to spread the loose <br />lifts and compaction was achieved utilizing a Cat 563 smooth drum roller by method specification. <br />Structural fill materials were placed and compacted within the PSSA toe -berm. Excess materials were used as fill <br />and placed in 24 inch lifts and compacted by method specification utilizing a Cat CS56B Smooth Drum roller. It <br />should be noted; fill placed for the PSSA Toe berm, was keyed into the existing HWY embankment as fill lifts were <br />brought up.
