The Division issued a Preliminary Adequacy Review for TR -17 on September 20, 2013. The
letter was re- issued on October 11 to acknowledge Goff s recent discovery of text and maps
comprising Appendices 5 -9 and 5 -10, which were incorporated into the permit under Technical
Revision No. 6 (TR -06) in 1997.
A response to the review, prepared by your office, was received on October 15, 2013. The
package included the following items:
:> Cover letter dated October 7, 2013, application form, and proposed public notice (the
form and public notice do not need to be submitted more than once, and do ,not,
themselves, become part of the permit);
y "Appendix A ", which includes:
o May 7, 2007 memo from Goff Engineering to Mike Savage regarding the flow
capacity of the culverts installed beneath the permanent haul road (it is not
necessary to resubmit this document, as nothing changed from the original
application)
o HEC -RAS analysis for 100 -year event (Carbon Junction Permanent
Diversion)
I "Appendix B ", which included:
o HydroCAD description of drainage basins and runoff for Upper Carbon
Junction Channel (10 -year event)
o HEC -RAS analysis for 10 -year event (Upper Carbon Junction Channel)
