The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, of the
Colorado Revised Statutes, hereby issues notice that on September 24, 2013, a minor revision
application (MR -131) to the Bowie No. 1 Mine, Permit No. C- 1981 -038, operated by Bowie
Resources, LLC, P.O. Box 1488, Paonia, CO 81428 was considered complete for the purposes of
filing. Bowie Resources, LLC (BRL) is proposing to modify the channel lining for Ditch 7 at the East
Mine area of the Bowie No. 1 Mine. BRL has proposed to add grout to the rip rap on the upper
portion of the ditch to enhance stability of the rip rap lining. All reviews and comment periods as
provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of filing.
