Hickenlooper <br />Governor <br />Mike King <br />Executive Director <br />Loretta Pineda <br />Director <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has reviewed the above referenced report. <br />The third quarter sediment pond inspection reports and the pond capacity data were received by the Division on <br />October 3, 2013. Sediment pond inspections were conducted by TMI on September 19, 20, 24 and 25 of 2013. <br />This report appears to be in compliance with the applicable sections of Rule 4.05.9(17). <br />Eleven maintenance items were noted during the inspections: <br />1. No Name 42 will be cleaned if weather and time allows. <br />2. Johnson 47R will be cleaned if weather and time allows. <br />3. West Pyeatt 41 needs more rock placed in the inlet. <br />4. Rock needs to be placed on the eastside of East Pyeatt 41. <br />5. East Pyeatt 42 needs debris cleared from the spillway. <br />6. Oak 41 will be cleaned if weather and time allows. <br />7. Middle Flume 43 will be cleaned if weather and time allows and the weir needs to be repaired. <br />8. East Middle Flume needs more rock placed in the inlet. <br />9. Deal Gulch needs more rock placed in the inlet. <br />10. Industrial Waste Pond will be cleaned if weather and time allows. <br />The Division concurs with the maintenance items noted. The Division also noted the necessity to clean <br />Middle Flume #3 pond during the last site inspection.
