10/15/13 State.co.us Executive Branch Mail - Fwd: Southfield Mine: MWNW & Pond 4
afrected by the activities, and proposed quantitative limits on
pollutants in discharges subject to applicable State and
Federal laws.
(1) A determination of the probable hydrologic consequences of
the proposed surface coal mining activities, or underground
mining activities, on the proposed permit area and adjacent
area, with respect to hydrologic regime and the quantity and
quality of water in surface and ground water systems under
A seasonal conditions, as determined by baseline hydrologic
and geologic data collected from, or statistically
representative o the site. The probable hydrologic consequences
will identify adverse impacts which may occur to
the hydrologic balance including: impacts from acid- or
toxic- forming materials; whether the operation would
interrupt, diminish, or contaminate water sources; the effect
the operation would have on sediment yields, flooding or
streamflow, and surface and ground water availability; and
the effect the operation would have on concentrations of
total dissolved and total suspended solids, total iron, pH,
total manganese, and other parameters required by the
Division.
Page 113
Section 2.05.6
110(2)(1)
(iv) A plan based on the probable hydrologic consequences
https: / /mail.g oog le.conVmai I /u /0 / ?ui =2 &i Ire29129fcb5 &view = pt &search =i nbox&th =141 bcef852l d94a5 13/20
