10/15/13 State.co.us Executive Branch Mail -Re: Southfield Mine: MWNW & Pond 4 <br />(a) Surface water information shall be provided, including the name <br />110(2)(1) <br />of the watershed which will receive water discharges from the <br />permit area, the location of all surface water bodies such as <br />streams, lakes, ponds and springs, the location of any water discharge <br />into any surface body of water, and descriptions of surface <br />drainage systems sufficient to identify, in detail, the seasonal <br />variations in water quantity and quality within the proposed permit <br />and adjacent areas. The application shall also contain information <br />pertaining to ownership and use of surface water bodies. <br />(b) Surface water information shall include: <br />Page 85 <br />Section 2.04.7 <br />(i) Minimum, maximum, and average flows which identify <br />critical low flow and peak discharge rates of streams <br />sufficient to identify seasonal variations; and <br />(ii) Water quality data from surface waters in, discharging into, <br />or which will receive flows from surface or ground water <br />from affected areas within the proposed permit area, <br />sufficient to identify seasonal variations.
