Susan Burgmaier -3- October 3, 2013
we are unable to locate any other documentation in the submittal with that file name.
Please provide the subwatershed input information for West Diversion Ditch
#1.
BOW2. West Diversion Ditch #1 was run separately since it does not flow into a pond. Please
see revised pages App. B -58 to 67. The page numbers were shifted around to move the West
Diversion Ditch detailed design to the end of Appendix B. The peak flow increased from 4.44 cfs
to 10.64 due to it previously being run with a 10year design storm instead of the 100 -year
design storm.
16. Volume IX, Figure 3:
All previously identified concerns were addressed. However, when BRL responds to Item
13, above, revisions to the Minimum Ditch Depth table on Figure 3 may be required. Please
verify the Minimum Ditch Depth table and revise as necessary.
BOW2; The changes in peak flow were fairly minimal, so no changes were required on the
Minimum Ditch Table shown on figure 3.
19. DRMS: BRL revised the color scheme as requested. The label for the upper line in
Section E -E- on Volume IX Figure 1 (now orange), however, was not changed to read,
"Permitted Top of Pile (TR -76) ", as was requested. Please revise the figure to include a
reference to TR -76 on the line indicating the proposed top of the pile. Please also
revise the rigure to include the line color
scheme in the legend.
BOW2.• Please see revised Figure 1.
Sincerely,
 e6a-
Tamme Bishop, P.E.
Project Engineer
Enclosures•
Volume I: Page xiii
Volume IX: Table of Contents, Pages 10 & 11, Appendix B pages App. B-2, 6 -10, 13, 17 -21,
23, 35, 38 -39, 46 -47, 58 -67, Figures 1, 3,
CC: Marcia Talvitie, DRMS - Durango (electronically)
Bill Bear, Bowie Resources, U-C (electronically)
Paonia Public Library
Bureau of Land Management (electronically)
US Forest Service (electronically)
