The application was submitted by Twentymile <br />Coal, LLC on November 19, 2012 for the Foidel Creek Mine. In accordance with Rule <br />2.08.5(3)(b) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for <br />Coal Mining, we are providing notice of this proposed decision. <br /> <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request <br />a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication <br />of the public notice by the Division in the Steamboat Pilot. <br /> <br />The Underground mine is located approximately 23 miles Southwest of Steamboat Springs, <br />Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />The mine permit area is covered by the Cow Creek, Dunckley, Milner, Mount Harris, and Oak <br />Creek USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle maps and includes portions of Sections 7, 8, 9, T4N, R86W; <br />Sections 32 and 33, T6N, R86W; Sections 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 34, 35 and 36 in T5N, R87W; and all <br />of T5N, R86W with the exception of Sections 34, 35, and 36. <br /> <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the <br />above address and at the Routt County Clerk and Recorder.
