We believe the analytical data
supports our request to eliminate the following elements that Gold Hill Mines is currently
required to have analyzed at each water monitoring location: Aluminum, Arsenic,
Cadmium, Chromium, Cobalt, Copper, Iron, Lead, Lithium, Mercury, Nickel, Selenium,
and Vanadium. As you can see, these elements have been either below the MDL or
below the EPA's MCL standards. Eliminating these elements will leave Gold Hill Mines
with the requirement to obtain quarterly analytical results for Manganese, Zinc, and
Sulfate.
Thank you for your assistance with this request for a Technical Revision for the Cash
and Who Do Mines' Permit No. M- 1983 -141.
Very Truly Yours,
Mark A.
