They sprayed with Milestone at the rate of 6 oz per 20 gallons of <br />water (3 oz of herbicide applied), Telar XP at the rate of 1 oz per 20 gallons of water (0.5 oz of <br />herbicide applied), Escort XP at the rate of .5 oz per 20 gallons of water (3 oz of herbicide <br />applied) and surfactant at a rate of 32 oz per 100 gallons of water (3 oz applied). Surfactant is <br />used with the herbicide to promote spreading and adhering of the herbicide to the plant surface. <br />The treated area (0.5 acre) required that 10 gallons of herbicide mixture be used. <br />July 24, 2013 Application <br />On July 24, 2013, Weed Wranglers sprayed for common mullein, diffuse knapweed, leafy <br />spurge, redstem filaree and Canada thistle (see Table 1). They used Milestone at the rate of 6 <br />oz per 30 gallons of water (8 oz of herbicide applied), Hidep at the rate of 48 oz per 30 gallons <br />of water (62 oz of herbicide applied) and surfactant at a rate of 48 oz per 100 gallons of water <br />(20 oz of herbicide applied). Weed Wranglers treated 1.3 acres with 40 gallons of combined <br />herbicide. <br />August 29, 2013 Application <br />On August 29, 2013, Weed Wranglers sprayed for Chinese clematis, Dalmatian toadflax, <br />burdock, houndstongue, musk thistle and wild buckwheat (see Table 1).
