EXHIBIT L <br />RECLAMATION COSTS <br />The following Reclamation Cost estimate is based on the <br />assumption that there will be no more than 25.22 acres ± distur- <br />bance at any -one time. The mine working face will be 900 feet long <br />by 20 feet high and be cut /fill sloped. An addition 400 feet of <br />slope will need to be backfill sloped. When it comes time to <br />resoil the area, an average of 5 inches of soil would be spread <br />over the disturbed area. At that time we will have to respread <br />16,950 cubic yards of topsoil and move 3,330 cy of cut \fill slop- <br />ing. The backfill sloping and shaping on the exterior slopes <br />needing 7,115 cubic yards of material. The table below outlines <br />the various areas of disturbance at the time explained above. A <br />D8N is used to do the shaping and resoiling in this calculation and <br />the mobilization haul distance is 9.25 miles.
