When I had asked Mr. Crofts, who had been on the Southfield Mine site <br />the preceeding several days, about rainfall at the mine site and in Newlin Creek, Mr. Crofts incorrectly informed <br />me that he had observed significant flow in Newlin Creek on September 14, 2013. Mr. Crofts had observed the <br />flow in a drainage that flows under Fremont County Road No. 15 northeast of the permit area, and had not <br />observed Newlin Creek. <br />The Divisions' September 17, 2013 Inspection report has been updated to reflect this correction. Mr. Crofts <br />believes that he had not observed Newlin Creek.
