I., <br />Construction of the coal mine waste pile will be a phased project with placement of gob <br />starting on the western edge of the pile, and progressing eastward. At the time of this <br />writing, the majority of the gob footprint has been cleared of all organic material and <br />topsoil. <br />Until the underdrain as submitted under Technical Revision No. 80 is approved, Bowie <br />will be limited to placement of gob in the western most pit bounded by ditches J -8 -1 & 2 <br />and a haul road (see page 4b). While gob is being placed in the west pit, coverfill <br />salvaging efforts will continue, with coverfill to be placed either in stockpile, for use at <br />gob pile #2, or used for contemporaneous reclamation efforts at gob pile #3. There is an <br />area where topsoil still needs to be salvaged and is shown on page 4b. <br />MR-139 <br />-4a- <br />09/04/13 <br />
