The Underground <br />operation is operated by Moun- <br />tain Coal Company, LLC under the <br />provisions of the Colorado Surface <br />Coal Mining Reclamation Act of <br />1979. The Partial Phase 11 Bond <br />Release application was submitted <br />by Mountain Coal Company, LLC <br />on October 3, 2011. The proposed <br />Partial Phase II Bond Release is <br />for 67.6 acres for the successful <br />replacement of topsoil and the es- <br />tablishment of vegetation to con- <br />trol erosion to levels at or below <br />the premining levels. The Partial <br />Phase II Bond release areas were <br />reclaimed between 1996 and 2008 <br />and include the done Pine Gulch fa- <br />cilities area, the 2000 thermal event <br />area and methane drainage well <br />pads and roads from nine different <br />drilling areas. More detailed infor- <br />mation regarding the release areas <br />can be found in the SL -04 applica- <br />tion, on file at the Division's Denver <br />office. The Division is proposing to <br />release $196,037.00. The affected <br />area is located in Delta and Gun- <br />nison Counties, approximately 9 <br />miles East of Paonia, Colorado. <br />Copies of the proposed decision <br />are available for review at the <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety office, 1313 <br />Sherman Street, Room 215, Den- <br />ver, Colorado 80203, and on the <br />Division's website at http://mining. <br />state.co.us/Reports/MiningData/ <br />Pages /I m a g ed Docu m e ntData. aspx. <br />A user's guide for our document <br />imaging system is also available <br />in pdf format at the same web ad- <br />dress. <br />Any person who has an interest <br />which is or may be adversely af- <br />fected may request an adjudicatory <br />hearing regarding this proposed <br />decision.
