Legal Description
New Horizon North Mine Permit Boundary
The lands within the proposed permit area are owned by Garvey & Co LLC, George E.L. Glasier and
Western Fuels- Colorado, LLC.
The mining area will be situated west of 2650 Rd, east of 2600 Rd, north of AA Rd and south of Z Rd.
The permit area contains tracts of land located in Section 25 and Section 36, Township 47 North, Range
16 West of the New Mexico Principal Meridian, Montrose County, Colorado being more particularly
described as follows:
New Horizon North Mine Mining Area
The West %: of Section 25, T. 47 N. R. 16 W. of the New Mexico Principal Meridian, containing 317.23
acres more or less.
New Horizon 2 Equipment Corridor
Additionally an equipment corridor of 4.95 acres, 50 feet in width, 25 feet on each side of the following
described centerline Beginning at a point on the southerly boundary of said Section 25 from which the
South % Corner of said Section 25 lies South 87 °30'29" East 523.20 feet; the following courses:
