Our review of this project was greatly assisted not only by the detailed description provided within your <br />letter but by the project area map showing the location of the RS -11L shaft and associated access road that you <br />emailed to our office. <br />After review of the documentation provided and in consideration of the negative findings of the recently <br />completed 2012 Red Wash Coal Lease survey (COC74813) within the proposed area of potential effects, we <br />concur with your determination that a finding of no historic properties affected is appropriate for the proposed <br />undertaking pursuant to 36 CFR 800.4(d)(1). <br />If previously unidentified archaeological resources are discovered in the course of the project, work must be <br />interrupted until the resources are properly evaluated in terms of the National Register of Historic Places <br />eligibility criteria (36 CFR 60.4) in consultation with our office. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
