<br />
<br />DIVISION I-ENDORSED:-Tbis means that it is the judgment of the Committee that the project is
<br />sound, needful and sufficiently advanced in status; and that its construction is justified by the public interest
<br />it will serve.
<br />
<br />DIVISION II-MERITORIOUS:-Tbis means that the Committee believes that although the project is
<br />not sufficiently advanced in status to warrant its present endorsement, it is meritorious, and that the Com-
<br />mittee is willing to consider, in due course, its advancement to Division I upon presentation by its sponsors of
<br />additional evidence justifying such action.

<br />DIVISION III-EXPEDITIOUS REPORT ON AUTHORIZED SURVEY REQUESTED:-Tbis
<br />means that the Committee believes that the National Rivers and Harbors Congress should request the engineer-
<br />ing authority to expedite any report on any authorized investigation or survey of the project to the end that
<br />appropriate further action may be had thereon in regard to its classification.

<br />DIVISION IV-RECOMMENDED FOR SURVEY:-Tbis means that the Committee believes that
<br />sufficient showing on behalf of the project has been made to warrant further examination in the form of an
<br />adequate survey by an appropriate agency of the Federal Government. ,
<br />
<br />DIVISION V-NOT CLASSIFIED:-This means that Committee believes that sufficient showing has
<br />not been made on behalf of the project to warrant more favorable action, and includes a1l applications not
<br />otherwise classified.
