~ .,J

.
.

qO~1.SZ

Draft

August 21,1996

MEMORANDUM

To:

File
Ray R. Bennett
Sub task 2.12 White River Basin Instream Flows

From:

Subject:

Introduction

This memo describes the results of Sub task 2.12 White River Basin Instream. The
objective of this task was as follows:

Add instreamflow rights not included in the Phase II model.

Approach and Results

New Instream Flow Reaches Exhibit 1 presents a summary of the instream flows
associated with the White River Basin as obtained from the Colorado Water Conservation
Board. A comparison of this list to the Phase II instream flows indicated that one new
instream flow reach should be added to the Phase III model as follows:

Ute Creek 6 cfs (432372)

Comment

The following should be noted:

. The Ute Creek instream flow was apparently omitted from the Phase II model
by accident.

. The addition of aggregated diversions did not result in any new tributaries
which required adding new instream flow data.

fn=\wlstatem \whitet\word\mm212.doc
