"The country's taxpayers simply cannot
continue to pay for flood protection fOL developers who knowingly
locate in a floodway," Hiller explained.

Under the bill, the officially designated "floodway" would
extend from Davis Dam, near Needles, California, to the Mexican
border.

The legislation has been endorsed by the Colorado River
Board of California.

Anyone wiShing to testify should contact the Subcommittee at
(2021 225-6042 by >lay 2, 1985.

n.. ~a..~ f'l)n'l '<<vdeO f~
