Hite, District Manager, Metro Wastewater Reclamation District, for a Letter of Map Revision. All information required for this request, including the required processing fee, was received on February 20, 1997. Using the information submitted and the effective National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) map, we determined portions of the property described below are located in the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), the area that would be inundated by the flood having a I-percent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year (base flood); however, the structure on the property is not in the SFHA, This property was elevated by the placement of fill after the date of the earliest NFIP map showing the area in the SFHA, Property Description: A portion of Section I, Township 3 South, Range 68 West, 6th Principal Meridian, as described in the Deed recorded in Book 1960, Page 5, in the Office of the Recorder, Adams County, Colorado Street Address: 6450 York Street Flooding Source: South Platte River This letter revises the above-referenced NFIP map to remove the structure from the SFHA. The structure is now located in Zone X (unshaded), an area of minimal flooding outside the SFHA. Flood insurance coverage for the structure may be available under a low-cost policy (see enclosed document), Because portions of the property remain in the SFHA, any future construction or substantial improvement on the property remains subject to Federal, State, and local regulations for floodplain management. The enclosed document provides additional infonnation about Letters of Map Revision.
