<br />,;or ~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />tt <br />2..3 <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />102Ccilumbipe Building <br />1845 Sher~an Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />July 11. 1973 <br /> <br />RES 0 L U T~ 0 N <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Urban Draipage and Flood Control District, <br />Denver, Colorado, has completed a storm drainage plan for the <br />Denver Metropolitan Region, Master Plan (Major Drainageway Planning) <br />Big Dry Creek, Volumes One and Two, City of Westminster, ,Adams <br />County, and Jefferson County, dated March 1973; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Master Plan outlines and describes the flood <br />water runoff channels within the above described areas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article 149-1-11(4), Colorado Revised Statutes <br />1963, requires' that the Colorado water Conservation BOard designate <br />and approve storm or flood water runoff channels and to make such <br />designation available to legislative bodies of ,local jurisdictions; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article 139-60-1, Colorado Revised Statutes 1963, <br />provides that such cities, towns, incorporated areas and local <br />jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for any storm or flood <br />water runoff channel only after designation and approval by the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District has <br />requested the Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate and <br />approve the flood hazard areas as set forth in the aforesaid Wright- <br />McLaughlin Engineers Master Plan report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said Master <br />Plan Report and does hereby recommend to the Colorado Water Conser- <br />vationBoard that said Board designate and approve as flood hazard <br />_ __ __ _ _ar_e_as__tho s e _areas -set -for-toh -in - lohe- -report- as-being- subj-ec-t--to-a---- - , <br />100-year flood; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by' the Colorado Water Con- <br />servation Board in regular meeting assembled in Glenwood Springs, <br />Colorado, this 11th day of July, 1973, that it does herebY,designate <br />
